Rent our Steenbok off-road trailer for light and easy towing during your next local or overlanding camping trip.

Our Steenbok off-road trailer weighs under 750 kgs and only requires a regular Code B licence to tow. Like all of our trailers, it is suitable for off-road driving and exploring. 

Don’t be fooled by its small and compact size, because when opened up at camp it offers ample storage space and comfort and is equipped with all the basic camping essentials you need. 

After an easy set-up, slide out the easily accessed Luna fridge from Steenbok’s kitchen set-up and grab an ice-cold drink before settling down at sunset. 

It is also fitted with LED Lighting, internal charging for USB and a fitted-gas stove. 

Our Steenbok Trailer sleeps 2 adults with the option for an extra adult or child in its add-on room.

  • Minimum of 4 nights required per rental
  • A standard Code B licence is required
  • This trailer is available to rent from Johannesburg
  • Please note our offices are open Monday – Friday

Fitment & Collection

  • Fitments will be done at our premises.
  • Items can be collected at our premises.

Once you have made your reservation, pull into our Johannesburg fitment centre the day before or on the morning that you plan to leave, where you can quickly hook up your Off-Road Trailer and be on your way.

Terms & Conditions

A 50% booking deposit will be required to confirm a booking & full payment will be required 30 days prior to collection.

    • Cancellation policy
      • 1- 29 days prior to arrival – 50% of the total rental fee will be refunded
      • 30 + days prior to arrival – 90% of the total rental fee will be refunded
      • In the event of a Covid-related travel restriction, we are happy to offer our clients one postponement for their booking to a new date.
      • Cancellation will need to be in writing.
    • The Excess and Damages deposit is required.
      • R 500.00 for Fridges and Smaller Gear
      • R1 000.00 for Larger Camping Gear and Equipment
      • R5 000.00 for Trailers / Khaya Camper (includes Gear and Equipment)
      • Booking deposit will be paid back 5 working days after the unit is dropped off if the unit and equipment are in working order
