It’s not uncommon for Go Camp to receive enquiries from customers whose vehicles require a bit more ‘pre-camping-treatment’ before the equipment they plan on renting can be fitted.
Replacing standard roof rails with aftermarket roof racks in order to load a rooftop tent, is just one of them. Andrew and Go Camp’s Cape Town workshop team love the excitement of getting a vehicle off-road friendly and ready to ‘Go Camp’ just as much as their customers do, and they were all too keen when Calvin’s request to help convert his 2010 Porsche Cayenne into an ‘overlanding machine’ came through.

As Calvin plans to go about his conversion at a fairly steady pace, we’ve started by supplying and fitting a full Front Runner Roof Rack so that he can enjoy some rooftop tent camping with his pride and joy.
