Welcome to Go Camp (Go Camp Anywhere (Pty) Ltd). By using our website, renting equipment, purchasing products, or using our fitment services, you agree to the Terms and Conditions below.

1. GENERAL WEBSITE TERMS

1.1 Use of Websit

You agree to use this website responsibly and not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access
  • Interfere with functionality
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

1.2 Accuracy of Information

We aim to ensure all information is accurate; however:

  • Product availability may change
  • Pricing may change without notice
  • Errors may occur

1.3 Intellectual Property

All content on this website (including images, text, and branding) remains the property of Go Camp and may not be used without written consent.

2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

2.1 Bookings

  • Bookings are only confirmed once full payment is received
  • Go Camp reserves the right to accept or decline any booking

2.2 Payment

  • Full payment is required prior to collection of rental equipment

3. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

3.1 Rental Booking Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

  • More than 7 days before collection
    Full refund (less any admin or processing fees)
  • 3 – 7 days before collection
    50% refund
  • Less than 72 hours before collection or no-show
    No refund

3.2 Early Returns

  • No refunds will be issued for early return of rental equipment
  • The full booking period remains payable

3.3 Deposit Refunds

  • Deposits are refundable after inspection of equipment
  • Refunds are processed within approximately 5 business days
  • Deductions may be made for:
    • Damage
    • Missing items
    • Cleaning or repair costs

3.4 Additional Charges

Where applicable, Go Camp may deduct or charge for:

  • Repairs or replacement
  • Late returns
  • Recovery or towing costs
  • If costs exceed the deposit, the balance remains payable.

3.5 Refund Method

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible
  • Go Camp is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions

3.6 Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following are non-refundable:

  • Used or installed products
  • Completed fitment services
  • Bookings cancelled outside of the applicable refund window

3.7 Discretion

Go Camp reserves the right to assess refunds on a case-by-case basis and apply reasonable administrative fees where necessary.

4. RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all rental equipment and are binding upon payment and/or collection.

4.1 Rental Agreement

By renting equipment from Go Camp, you agree to the full rental agreement.

4.2 Use of Equipment

You agree to:

  • Use equipment responsibly and in accordance with all laws
  • Not sublet or allow third-party use
  • Not modify or alter equipment
  • Obtain written permission before cross-border travel
  • Ensure compliance with all cross-border requirements, including permits, documentation, and applicable regulations

4.3 Responsibility & Risk

  • Risk transfers to you upon collection
  • You are responsible for any loss, damage, or theft
  • Any insurance offered is subject to separate terms, conditions, and applicable excess amounts
  • Insurance does not cover all risks, and you remain responsible for any uninsured loss or damage

4.4 Deposits

  • A refundable deposit is required for all rentals

4.5 Returns

  • Equipment must be returned on time and in good condition
  • Equipment must be returned in a clean condition
  • Go Camp reserves the right to charge reasonable cleaning fees where equipment is returned excessively dirty
  • Late returns may be charged on a per-hour or per-day basis at Go Camp’s discretion
  • You are responsible for recovery costs if equipment cannot be returned

4.6 Damage & Recovery

  • Any damage must be reported immediately
  • You are responsible for all recovery, towing, and transport costs

4.7 Use at Own Risk

  • All rental equipment is used entirely at your own risk, particularly in outdoor, off-road, and remote travel conditions where inherent risks exist.

4.8 Indemnity

  • You indemnify Go Camp against any claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of rental equipment.

5. FITMENT OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT

We may assist with fitting rental equipment to your vehicle.

5.1 Vehicle Responsibility

You warrant that:

  • Your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with all applicable laws
  • Your vehicle is suitable for the intended equipment and load
  • You have disclosed all relevant vehicle specifications, load limits, and modifications

5.2 Compatibility

  • Fitment is done based on available information and standard practices.
  • Compatibility with all vehicles or setups cannot be guaranteed.

5.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Camp is not liable for:

  • Damage to your vehicle
  • Electrical or mechanical faults
  • Structural damage or overloading
  • Issues arising from incorrect vehicle specifications or pre-existing faults

5.4 Post-Fitment Responsibility

Once equipment is fitted:

  • You assume full responsibility for safe use
  • You are responsible for load management and driving conditions

5.5 Customer Acknowledgement & Inspection

You confirm that you have inspected the fitment of all equipment at the time of collection or installation and are satisfied with its condition and installation. Any concerns must be raised prior to departure. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the fitment and installation.

5.6 No Engineering Certification

Go Camp does not provide engineering certification, load verification, or structural assessment. It remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their vehicle complies with manufacturer load limits, legal requirements, and safe operating conditions.

6. PERMANENT FITMENTS (SUPPLIED & FITTED EQUIPMENT)

These terms apply to equipment purchased and installed by Go Camp.

6.1 Scope

Go Camp supplies and installs equipment as an accredited dealer.

6.2 Manufacturer Warranties

  • Products carry manufacturer warranties where applicable
  • Go Camp does not extend or replace manufacturer warranties

6.3 Installation

  • All installations are carried out with care using standard industry practices.
  • Vehicle variations may affect installation outcomes.

6.4 Limitation of Liability

Go Camp is not liable for:

  • Damage unless caused by gross negligence
  • Indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to trip disruption, accommodation loss, travel delays, or loss of use of the vehicle
  • Incorrect use of installed equipment

6.5 Ongoing Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Regularly checking all installed equipment
  • Ensuring all components remain secure
  • Using equipment according to manufacturer guidelines

7. PRODUCT SALES

  • All products are subject to availability
  • Prices may change without notice
  • Used or installed items are not returnable unless defective
  • Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Camp is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Loss of income, travel plans, or business
  • Injury, damage, or loss arising from:
  • Equipment use
  • Fitments
  • Travel

To the extent that liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, Go Camp’s total liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the relevant product, rental, or service giving rise to the claim.

9. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold Go Camp harmless against any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from:

  • Use of equipment
  • Fitment services
  • Breach of these Terms

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Go Camp is not liable for delays or failure due to events beyond its control, including:

  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Strikes
  • Government restrictions

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

You consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court, notwithstanding that the claim amount may exceed its ordinary jurisdiction.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

Go Camp may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
